Misidentified songs

Postby Randall Roq » Fri Apr 07, 2006 8:00 am

I guess I really have gotten older...

I was looking through some of the songs I'd downloaded and noticed an odd one- Puttin' on the Ritz by They Might Be Giants (?). Did they do some cover I was unaware of?!

So I listen to it and sure enough it was that dreck by Taco!!

I will now add this to my folder with:

Love Is Like Oxygen by ELO

Mongoloid by The B52's

And Janitor by Blondie (I kid you not)

Kids if you don't know the name- guess. It makes life worth living to know that I live in a world where I, of all people, have become an expert.

Scotty, Beam me up!

At least we're getting songs I thought were lost forever. I found AMOK by Ledernachen. I hadn't heard that song for over 20 years.

I also love how absolutely anything remotely funny that you ever download happens to be by "Weird Al Yankovick." Whether he had anything to do with it or not.
