What do ye think of the tracklisting?

Souvenir (Moby Remix) - Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark

And
Don't You (Forget About Me) (Jam And Spoon Remix) (Edit) - Simple Minds

seem interesting.

Some good stuff, although the modern mixes of old songs usually only last about one listen with me. Still prefer the original mixes from the 80's, which tended to emphasize the song hook rather than the beats per minute.

Strange tracklist - some new, some common, some not so common.

That Moby remix of Souvenir is brilliant. The sound/production is so much warmer than the original, although he does add his own piano line in.

emi and disky are closely linked and i bought a box from disky which had quite a few of these tracks, many of which were taken direct from vinyl, with major audible flaws (not helped by using a turntable they'd picked up from a car boot sale (sounds like it)those 2 sets were called maximum 80s and more maximum 80s - possibly one of the worst purchases i've made. some of the tracks for this new set MAY have come from the same source - best to let one person here be brave and then give feedback!
