what can i say? i was expecting new wave at its best, but what do i get? what did the fans get? far off the most upsetting concerts i've ever watched...

front act hilera was a good frontact, the bassist was using a cello, very innovative, its like watching sting play bass in every breathe you take...

the first band to appear was when in rome? but i think the frontman, forgot his name and i would never bother want to find out anymore... they played their hits heaven knows, wild wild sea and the promise, they did a cover song from talk talk, well their hit talk talk... the promise wasn't even played in the original D scale...

when in rome aren't from europe, their from california...

when real life's vocalist came out with his guitar, his back up badn were members of when in rome... he did justice to the concert they played a cover from b-movie... when they played catch me i'm falling and send me an angel, the crowd went wild...

when a flock of seagulls entered the stage, the sound check was awful... they were not comparable to let's say, duran duran...

but of course, they were able to play their hits such as, telecommunication, the more you live, i was falling in love and their smash hit i ran (so far away)... it was announced that they're coming up with a new album and they did play some of their new songs...

the session musicians of seagulls looked like heavy metal dudes...

audience attendance was an all mighty low, by the time the seagulls played, most of the fans have already left...

well, i cannot complain, at least i liked watching the set of real life, they sounded great...

overall, it was a disaster... [:(]

hopefully, the next lost 80s tour would be better featuring wang chung, gene loves jezzebel, general public and thomson twins... this one i might still go because of wang chung...

yes Hilera did a cover of the stary cats, which was actually one thing that didn't make me boo them, the other opening act was just too hip hip for me...

i was i guess, was expecting too much... not to mention, when in rome didn't even have their original vocalist, it was no wonder why this wasn't the same when in rome i heard in 1988... they did a good version of talk talk's talk talk, hehehehe...

if i may say this in our language... "sayang talaga ang pera..." meaning, it was a waste of money... and i had to trvael all the way from pampanga just to catch em...

a flock of seagulls, looked like glam metal boys... only the lead vocalist was the original member, like that of real life's set... members of when in rome did justice to real life's musical accompaniment...

when in rome aren't from europe, their from california...

then this other front act, band's two vocalist went to the stage, nagpa contest pa ang sponsor ng conert na mossimo, grabe ano to that's entertainment?

when real life's vocalist came out with his guitar, di ko alam na magiging back up band niya ay yung dalawang members ng when in rome... he did justice to the concert, kung paano niyo narining mga songs ng real life sa CD, ganun din sa live... they played a cover song called no way girl (baka mali yung tite, but i remember this song) by b-movie... when they played catch me i'm falling and send me an angel, sumabay naman yung crowd...

when a flock of seagulls entered the stage, grabe, ang tagal ng sound check niya... nakaka bad trip, they were not comparable to let's say, side A... at least naman ang side A very professional when it comes to sound checking...

but of course, they were able to play their hits such as, telecommunication, the more you live, i was falling in love and their smash hit i ran (so far away)... it was announced that they're cmoing up with a new album and they did play some of their new songs...

yung mga sessionist ng seagulls, mukhang death metal ang dating...

saw this tour in the past year with Gene Loves Jezebel but had only one of the original singers and Dramarama
Dramarama was great
Gene LOves Jezebel was missing the spark of the 2 singers
When in Rome and Real LIfe were OK
Flock of Seagulls were good on the older songs but looked more like a hard rock band than the synth band they originally were
the new members of AFOS looked kinda heavy metal than NW
