Wifey is dragging me to Morrissey (again) at Mohegan Sun on March 28th. He must be big with the Indians.

I've just gone to my last Morrissey concert. He opened with "This Charming Man", which was great, but then it was all down hill from there. He was congenial and chatty and charming enough. It's just that his song selection sucked. It was back to bad Morrissey and all his mid to late-90s heavy guitar and drum rockabilly thump. I think we had a nice little retro run of the Morrissey of the old with Quarry and Ringleader, but Years of Refusal is shit and so was the gig. I was very worried that he's play too much of the new album and he did, even at the expense of anything good off his previous two albums. The shitty icing on the cake was the band coming out for the encore, having some sound issues, and Morrissey basically walking off in a huff. Fucking cunt. Done.

^^^ How was the beat??? They performed very well at The High Rollers Scooter Weekender in Las Vegas, great form, bad sound system and accoustics f-ed with their sound...
