Comsats/Sad Lovers & Giants Cherry Red Feb 10

Comsats/Sad Lovers & Giants Cherry Red Feb 10

In this interview with the head of England's iconic indie Cherry Red, it is announced February will see reissues by COMSAT ANGELS, SAD LOVERS & GIANTS & IGGY POP:

"What are some of the most interesting things you’ve got in the works for the near future?

We’re excited to do some more with Marc Almond; I think he’s a great artist. [In] February we have a couple of Comsat Angels albums coming out, and then Sad Lovers and Giants, an Iggy Pop reissue..."

We know Sad Lovers and Giants are remastering their 1987 album THE MIRROR TEST, so that is now confirmed by the label.

The interesting question is which Comsat Angels albums are getting reissued? I know both LAND and 7 DAY WEEKEND were previously issued on Conossiour Collection awhile back but are now out of print...could Cherry Red be briging these back? Or is it CHASING SHADOWS and the DREAM COMMAND album?

I know fans have been lobbying Cherry Red to issue all four of these albums for several years and along with the continuation of the Sad Lovers & Giants back catalogue, it looks to be another fantastic year for Cherry Red.
