Bauhaus Omnibus Editions

Ok...I have purchased both Omnibus editions on Amazon and they have both been pretty damn scratched up. I have gotten Mask twice now and the second time around wasn't as bad as the first set but the discs were still scratched up. Anyone else had this problem?

Not w/Bauhaus...but had a similar story/situation happen with Morrissey's "Ringleader Of The Tormentors" cd. I went to buy it one day @ Tower, I opened it in front of the guy(as I'd heard that my buddy had bought one hours earlier, and his had some SERIOUS scratches on it). Anyways, I open it...sctraches. I show the guy, he says "go grab another, sorry". I grabbed another, same results. We BOTH grabbed one, opened it, and ...scratched. Finally, after that, the next one was perfect. I show up a few days later, and that guy says to me" hey, remember those cd's we saw that were scratched? Guess what, over half the shipment was scratched, WTF??". They were very cool about replacing it for me, and apologized profusely for it. I think he even gave me some ROTT promo stuff they got for it.[:D]

That sucks this happened to you man...I hope you can get it resolved.

How's the sound quality on them? I hear it's not very good, which is why I refrained from buying them @ the last minute.

To be honest...I didn't even listen to them because I was so angry that they were scratched. I just wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem because I don't want to keep buying the same thing.
