the 80s/12" series is definitely losing steam based on that track list. Even though CD3 tracks aren't listed, I'm sure it's more of the same, and if so, I'm pretty sure most if not all of those tracks have been on previous volumes in the series. And I'm sick of them throwing in 90s remixes of 80s songs as well...

You're thinking of 12"/80s/*.

I was under the impression it's the same series repackaged. The 3-disc format is the same, as are many of the mixes. I guess it might be different, but so many of these compilations lately are released by the same labels.

It seems that only 2 disks are in the title:
80s 12" Summer (2CD)
It may not be the same series as 12"/80

The tracklisting could be better big time.

Hello all,
Looking at the tracks, this won't be anything to do with the people who do the 12"/80's stuff - with the mixture of original and 90's mixes this has to be via EMI who've recycled the same tracks under different names for several years. If you want these tracks plus several CD's more of this stuff try ' Original Hits - 80's 12" ' which is at play.com for £6.99 for the 6 CD set.
