Tenek 'On The Wire'

Postby GJH » Mon Sep 20, 2010 7:08 am

To anyone out there who spent all there money in the 80s on music by such groups as The Human League, Heaven 17, Japan, Depeche Mode, etc, I would not hesitate in recommending that they get a copy of Tenek's second album 'On The Wire'. Well crafted and creatively referencial with contemporary stylings the album is a welcome addition to any collection of 'synth-pop' music.(Very)subtle Moroderish sequencers and a Tears For Fears style slower number rub shoulders with original compositions full of modern production techniques. It would be good to hear what other people think.

I don't really care for "Blinded By You" but their song "I Don't Cry" off of Stateless is freaking fantastic.
