The days of video at concerts over?

My initial thought was going to be "Fuck you Apple." Then I recall the growing cadre of obnoxious weenies who insist on documenting the entire concert? WTF for?? You're there. Soak it in. Jump around like a maniac. Enjoy it. I might shoot one entire song (possibly a couple more if I'm out of the way) or shoot pics during a song or two. I then put the camera away and enjoy the gig AND allow others to enjoy the gig. The cameras have gotten way out of hand.

I don't even go to shows anymore, I sit home and watch shaky youtube videos from some dude's iphone where the sound quality is "top-notch" and magic marker the bands name on my t-shirt. And then download their CD for free.

Well, I'm just glad I got that video of Schwenko dancing the robot at the OMD concert.
