well this definitely slipped the net found this website of Paul and Robin Simon who have had a long history of good bands e.g. original ultravox , Paul has remastered this great track and done some remixes , I have ordered the ep but was not 100% certain if it was CD or Vinyl , have asked him via email

hopefully the same treatment will be done with wonderlust another fantastic track by the fallout club

Interesting. Seems to be digital download, not CD. I wonder, is this authorized... is it mastered from vinyl or the original tapes... /JW

I will let you know when I get a reply, the reason I thought it might be a physical release was the price , if you look at amazon and I tunes it is a lot cheaper to purchase than directly from them ( a bit of a shot in the dark) I did say that i did not want to purchase if it was a download. Like you I wondered if it was official and will ask, I also will enquire if they hold the rights to Wonderlust as well . Will keep the forum updated

I'd buy if it's a CD. They charge postage so that implies physical.

OK , just to let everyone know

Its a CDR, very basic with no label
no proper sleeve just a paper cover

however , playing it in my car the quality is extremely good for the first few tracks , my ears are 49 years old and is sounds pretty good. the remixes are very well done and very sensitive to the original , not sure if the original tapes were used but quite impressed

and in defence the demo track at the end is probably from a very old tape but is really interesting to see how it developed

so overall a mixed reaction , I probably dont think it is worth £7 pounds but I am a person who had the 12" of wonderlust when it came out and never managed to get a copy of dream soldiers , so I am pleased to have the original in what sounds like not a take from vinyl

it would be good if it was put on the website what the source was from and if they had the
original tapes for the remixes , if they didnt they have done a very good job

No surprise that it's a CDR. That said, this is brilliant music and a full CD of FC and its offshoots could be produced but probably won't. Only the dreaded Cherry Red is reissuing music of this type, but even they wouldn't do this obscure.
