Good to see those 12"/80s collections back in action. They've never really disappointed.

Looking forward to the New Wave one , I am hoping that in between the usual ones they have included some of the more rare ones that have been on our want lists

Looking on the box they have Human League / Simple Minds / Soft cell and I think all of their 12"s have been released at some point

Strange definition of chilled out if you ask me also there is no extended version of Christian by China Crisis.

I have almost very track already. Yeah and chilled would apply to more mellow tracks. Half of these tracks here should've been on a dance compilation.

just checked the tracklisting and Christian extended is there ,

Agreed that it is quite a strange mix of tracks to be called chilled but I at least applaud them for not going for the usual suspects on the CD , I have quiet a few on Vinyl but at least this will mean i can replace them. It will be interesting to see what they define as new wave , i have ordered mine

What i meant to say was there was never an extended version of Christian ever released only an edited single version and the album version.

And here is the new wave one , once again quite impressive although i have a lot of them , good to see Visage Visage extended and also Fashion Move on extended, If people have not got a lot of these it is a very good collection and as stated at least it look like some thought has been put into this by someone who knows the era
i will order it

99% of these tracks have appeared on other compilations or have been released on CD before. How hard can it be for them to track down mixes that have never appeared on CD before instead of them rehashing the same old stuff time and again also no club mix of I Ran by Flock Of Seagulls exists.

I'm wondering if Fashion's Move On is a new remaster or the Cherry Red one from some years ago.

have to agree with most of the posts; another recycle of what is already out there. I used to buy whatever was put out, because I liked have the physical copy, etc. But then all of a sudden you find four or five of the same mixes, from different compilations. As noted, a little more effort would go a long ways in creating something that would be 'new.' Pass for me. Lots of opportunities for great 80's bands to have a 'deluxe' edition. For me, the same as it was for the past few years, General Public, When in Rome, OMD, Wang Chung, etc.

Without starting a new thread - there is another 100 hits 80s cd on the way.

These can repeat tracks - but some times - they contain some good tunes:

Sorry about that:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/100-Hits-Anthems-Various-Artists/dp/B00NBQR4CM/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1410977394&sr=1-1&keywords=100+hits+anthems

These compilations sometimes contain some good tunes - but the bulk have already appeared before.

No track listing up for this one.
