The New Order and Alison Moyet ones are definitely something I'd love to see happen. Cabaret Voltaire would be good too, as well as their 1991 album Body and Soul. Couldn't get into the ones they made later.
Yes, that's something that always makes me feel very angry, Depeche Mode-wise. I don't share their opinion on their early videos being that bad at all. New Order reissue series should be continued where they were left off back in 2009. Alison Moyet Columbia/Sony reissues were meant to be out a couple of years ago but haven't seen the light of day yet. As for Cabaret Voltaire, the Parlophone years box-set in the vein of the last year's "Collected Works 1983-1985" that compiled their Some Bizzare/Virgin period years would be the best. But I'd be fairly satisfied with individual deluxe 2CD/DVD reissues too, just for the promo video matters the most.
Although three of their early videos are on the 2006 best-of DVD, I'm still longing for a DVD release of the other videos. I kinda thought that if they ever released another singles compilation anytime soon, they might finally do a comprehensive videos collection. The Videos 86>98+ is a fine example of how they should've done a possible The Videos 81>85.
In regards to the New Order ones, I didn't really like some of the inclusions on those reissues. For example, I think True Faith and Blue Monday '88 didn't really belong on Brotherhood. True Faith should've been on a reissued Substance and Blue Monday '88 perhaps on Technique. But I like the short selection of tracks on each because it's almost like a double album, or a remix album a la Pet Shop Boys' Disco. I'm not sure what I'd like to see on a Republic reissue, as I'm not very keen on some of the remixes from that album, but definitely the single mixes of World and Spooky, and the New Order mix of Regret.
I don't really mind how they release the Cabaret Voltaire ones, but I'd love an individual 2CD/DVD release of each one, especially Groovy (second fave album after Micro-Phonies). I'm not really into their early stuff, nor am I into the post-1991 albums. There's plenty of mixes that could go on a Groovy reissue though to fill a second disc. Maybe even after that perhaps a singles compilation like #7885.
