I do know it's a bit off topic to start here in this section. But just couldn't resist to post this link entitled "New Wave artists aging gracefully. An 80's world gone by…" from 2013 I've just come along on here at all.
You'll be very surprised to see of what some of our beloved New Wave artists look like today, especially if you haven't seen them for a long(er) time.
Enjoy!

Notice no one responded. Thanks for the post Sensoria. Man, looking at the bands remind us of how old we are getting. Some did age very well though.

Some have aged very well, indeed. Alison Moyet and Grace Jones are timeless. The ones who were able to grow and age beyond their New Wave personas/characters have aged quite gracefully. Those still hanging on to "the look"...Poor Robert Smith, poor Lene.

Lene Lovich and Joe Jackson look a bit scary!

Interesting blog, thanks for posting.

Oh, thanks for letting me know about it, negative1!
I didn't know a previous thread like this existed at all. So naturally I couldn't overlook it at all, and search option was very last thing on my mind. Not having so much time to wander around here lately is another reason why I often don't look back at this forum's past. So there!

What Spit said. I had enough of "hall monitors" in grade school - no way I'm putting up with them in my life now!

I can see it being bad if someone did a re-post of something from a few days ago or even a week or two ago but this was from 2 years ago. If I post something, I try to look at the recent posts to see if I am duplicating. If I remember possibly seeing it before, I may do a search but even then I sometimes can't find the post. So with all due respect I am forgiving of others who may have done a duplicate post. The easiest thing to do is if you've already read it, don't read it again. The title of the post is most of the time pretty obvious so if the subject is old news to you, just don't open it.
