Bananarama "In A Bunch - CD Singles Box Set 1981-1993"

[omar]

Edsel will release this lavish boxset on July 31st. All 33 singles along with b-sides,ext. versions released between 1981-1993 on London Records will be presented in individual cardboard sleeves.

[mgidaho]

Wow! Sign me up!

[omar]

Apparently a hundred tracks or so are set to appear on the box set that weren't in the previous Edsel reissues! No track listing yet but only Amazon UK and the Demon Music Store have it advertised .

[Sensoria]

I'm beside myself just by looking at it!!!

http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/news/ ... d-box-set/

[omar]

The fact that it's a lavish boxset featuring a 100 or so unreleased recordings, lyrics, poster etc makes it definitely worthwhile. Not that I'm complaining, they should've probably reissued this instead of those edsel 2cd/dvds. Bananarama were definitely a "singles" band and a lot of fans would've been quite content with a cd singles boxset. Anyway...

[Fred Taghon]

I think I just had a Banana-gasm!

The six 2cd/dvd album re-issues were AWESOME. Sound mastering, track selection, packaging. I could have died happy there.

Then the 3cd "Megarama" remix collection arrived. My Banana-world was as complete as I dreamed it could ever be.

Now a 33cd singles box set with 100 MORE tracks that that the aforementioned collections do not include!!!! Housed in cardboard replicas of the original sleeves (which, if the packaging of the previous releases is any indication, will be impeccably crafted)! Quick, someone pass the smelling salts!

Tom Parker, your place as a god in the minds of every Bananarama fan is officially assured now, and until the end of time. Let the worshiping commence...

[magnum]

is there a tracklisting?????

[Neil Kelly]

We're still waiting unfortunately. I can see this being delayed... But VERY good!

[Sean]

Oh wow, awesome!!!

[mgidaho]

Looks like release has been pushed back a month according to Amazon UK.

[anfunny2003]

A fortnight.

[mgidaho]

Another delay. Uh oh.

[Last Film Star]

Do people really listen to all these remixes and 12" versions etc?

I barely have time to listen to the greatest hits album. I guess some people have more time on their hands than me.

[moni]

I honestly don't know why this cheese is even being discussed here because since when were Bananarama ever considered new wave
