In 2023, Steven Wilson compiled a compilation titled "Intrigue".

In last February's "iO Pages", Alice Switzer and René Ydema crossed (s)words for the first time in the column "A&R Duet". As a former contributor to the magazine, I am familiar with their shared preference for eighties music and was intrigued by the tracks they both suggested as alternatives in response to Wilson's compilation.

I have collected these tracks, and you can find the download link to the title "Intriguing Alternatives"; the literal translation of their column "Intrigerende alternatieven".

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here
but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces.
Please support these artists and bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

Up for one week.
