The Pat Benatar song is much better in the movie than it is on the soundtrack. I bought the CD mostly for this one song and was kinda disappointed........isn't that the whole point of buying a sountrack--to get the songs as they appeared in the movie? The Cycle V song is pretty cool too.

Daft Punk completely pwns. You cannot go wrong with 80s-influenced electronica/techno. [i]Alive 1997[/i]? Quite possibly one of the best "live" albums there is. Right up there with Cheap Trick at the Budokan and Journey's greatest hits live.

the theme of the "radio ga ga" video was a future world very obviously based on "metropolis"- but the song wasn't in the movie, just the look of the movie in the video. did that even make sense? probably not.

i don't remember eurythmics doing "metropolis"- but the movie "1984" that they did the soundtrack for certainly echoed some of the design elements of "metropolis."
