I've noticed that more and more bands today are being open about their 80s influences. Whereas, 90s bands used to harp on their 60s and 70s influences. A lot of modern bands like The Postal Service, Interpol, Ladytron, etc. are clearly influenced by 80s

It was a great show down at the Blank club with the Epoxies on fri night. one of the best shows I been to in years kind of brings you back to the good ole days of shows at the Mabuhay Gardens and the Stone and Keystone in Berkeley. Energetic and fun.
