Since the Direct Connect music hub for new wave seem to be an Exclusive Secret Sociality. You should try out Soulseek, currently there more rare 80's new wave that can be found in the network.

It's not that secret, really. It's very possible that the moderators are busy, but I think they really do want to have more participation. Make sure to email Natephish and he'll eventually respond. He won't be scouring threads to see who wants to be serviced.

I've not seen Nate on the hub recently, so it could be he is very busy with work, out of town, etc.....the hub is a good thing, and YES, we want more users on the hub.

I'd like to join either group. I'd like to check out some rare/obscure stuff, but the stuff I have to offer, everyone probably has already. So I'd be no better then a common leech. bkr_tea(at)yahoo.com

I know that they are looking for a new host for the hub...Daniel will not be able to do it anymore, so anyone who can would be appreciated.

Also, Natephish said last night that he was going to register new people today, so rejoice, shake hands, kiss babies, etc.

Refusing to accept new members...? This is news to me. I hurt my neck badly a short time ago and have been going for very extensive chiropractic and physical therapy session, putting my e-mail off for a few days. We're still accepting members, I don't see any time when we wouldn't, as long as the hub is up.

Everyone in the future: be patient! I will get to you eventually! If ANYONE else wants to join, just e-mail me at Natephish@gmail.com and I'll register you as soon as I can.

Here! Here! Let's not go off the deep end! The hub is open to EVERYONE WITH A NWO ID. Yes, there continue to be some buggy technical issues with the DC++ setup but NEVER was there an overt or implied exclusivity to joining this hub! There's no arbitrary minimum gig requirement, heck, I got started with less than 1gig myself! As long as you bring some of YOUR MUSIC to the hub THE MORE THE MERRIER! Remember this is a VOLUNTARY endeavour and one must acknowledge Disintegration & Natephish for donating their time and bandwidth to host this thing.

this has never been the case. On the contrary, we have been trying to get many on NWO to join, to no avail. Many spend countless hours here posting stuff, too bad not any of that time joining the hub and swapping TONS of the music that awaits you there. You would be amazed at what is in there for sharing.

No problems connecting for me, set-up was straight forward. I'm going to need a bigger hard drive soon, and it's all thanks to everyone on the hub. [8D]
