Was anyone else at this show? Martin Fry still has some serious pipes! He put on an amazing show!

A very good crowd too. 35+ year old former hipsters werre rocking out to Poison Arrow (all pointing in unison at Martin during the chorus (You Did! You Did!)

Awesome.

Finished up w/ All of My Heart and came back for an encore of The Look of Love plus another tune I didn't know. Just wow.[:D]

Wish I had - sounds familiar!. I saw ABC in Salt Lake City in a small club last summer and they were fantastic. Too bad only 100 people or so showed up. Martin put on a fantastic show - I got my money's worth and more. He's the quintessential performer - obviously loves what he does, if even for a small but appreciative crowd.

They did all the hits with the exception of Vanity Kills.

Howard Jones, The Fixx, Naked Eyes, and Men at Work's Colin Hay all played the same club in the space of a month or two. Needless to say, I was in heaven.

Saw ABC last night at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA and there must have been roughly 200 people. it was an awesome show, but they were much better last year when they came through the area. After the show, Martin did a "meet and greet" with the fans, about 40 of us stayed after. I brought all of my 45s and 12" and CD covers for martin to sign, and he signed most of them. David Palmer (the original drummer) also appeared and had him sign my vinyl. They were both down to Earth gents.

I caught their show at The Fenix, in Seattle a few weeks back. It was fantastic! Loved that pink suit, or was it lilac? He still knows how to dress though. It was a near sellout crowd, and they were all loving it. He sounded great after all these years. I was fortunate enough to shake his hand after the show, and thank him for the music.
Now that was something I couldn't have done 20 years ago!

If I could buy my reasoning,
I would pay to lose

I just got back from the Atlanta, GA show. I was surprised at how heavy their sound was. Very good!!!! Also, the venue had partitioned off half of the seating area. The crowd quickly outgrew the available space and the partition had to be removed. Great show, great crowd!!!! Naked Eyes opened.

PS For those keeping score at home: Martin wore his tangerine suite with a black shirt. Surprisingly, he did NOT look Halloweenish or like a pumpkin.
