At least i would eradicate with a conscious. And wether you believe it or not these peoples idealogy is total elimnation of anyone who does not conform to thier beliefs. Funny that someone that called for the eradication of an entire country, the murdering of millions of people, is trying to claim the high road by not making it personal. Being half-Iranian, with Iranian family in Iran, you made it way more personal than me calling you a moron. You think killing my family members, all secular, very highly educated, pro-Western values Iranians, would solve a damn thing? Do you know a single Iranian? Have you ever sat down and had a discussion about the politics, the culture, the history of Iran, or for that matter, any country? Have you ever lived under theocratic rule? How dare you think you have an inkling of what it is like for people over there. If you went back and actually studied the history of the country, you'll see that the USA and Great Britain have done their best to undermine any real democracies that were in place. If they are resentful, it is because they don't like having their states of affairs meddled in. I know it might be hard to get from point A to point B, but start reading some objective histories, not the simple crud that has led you to this Dubya-esque point of view.

Based on your reasoning, we should wipe out any country that is intolerant of other belief systems. That is about as simple a statement as I have ever read.

Do yourself a favor. Go visit the world, not just the sight-seeing spots, but meet the actual people from the countries you despise. This world is full of more shades of gray than you will ever know, but from what I gather from your statements, you only care to focus on the black and white. Simple.

I agree with you beatschool, I think people should travel more, visit other countries and try to learn about and understand other cultures. If someone wants to know about other country and its people, then go there and see by yourself, that's far better than watching TV documentaries or news (which most times are distorted) about those places.

And IMHO the US policy has always been the policy of fear, your government has always created or needed an enemy (indians, nazi Germany, the USSR, communism, international terrorism...) so that the war economy keeps on going and to manipulate US people more easily.

As someone stated before, if all the money wasted in raging wars and causing pain and destruction was spent in health/education/culture/environment... the world would be a much better place... but sadly, in the end it's all about power and making money [V]
