I missed God. Although, I kinda miss Savethewave more. (No offense, oh Holy Father.)

Good heavens,
I return from partying up a storm at my 20th High School Reunion, and I see that Lebanon is all the rage.[}:)]

I don't know what to think. I cannot imagine living in a country where all its neighbours want to eradicate you. Tough decisions Olmert has had to make, going ahead with withdrawals in the West Bank and then Gaza, just enough time for them to get their guns & bombers all pointed at Israel. Not to mention the southern Lebanese border. Israel finally pulls out of there a few years ago and I see that Hezbullah has been busy arraying their guns as well.

It must be crazy in Leb. right now, trying to survive, not get hit, and/or evacuate.

I saw some CNN headline while I was in the airport yesterday: What should the US do? I'm like, WTF?

Should we "do" anything? What do guys you think ? Let them sort it out, then back to business as usual? Or should the US seize this opportunity to do some puppet-propping ? [;)]

Should we? No way. Will we? More than likely. I just don't see how we could pass up an opportunity to do Israel's bidding. [xx(]

C'mon, if they REALLY wanted to get their soldiers back, they would have dispatched a Mossad contingent to do an 'extraction' rather than bomb the living crap out of the Lebanese to escalate hostilities enough to use the 'self defense' justification.

((Oops![:I])) ^^Should've been up there!^^

It appears to me that Israel has clearly expressed its intention of driving right into Southern Lebanon to either expand and or reclaim its northern border real estate.

C'mon, if they REALLY wanted to get their soldiers back (alive and in one piece), they would have dispatched a Mossad contingent to do an 'extraction' rather than bomb the living crap out of the Lebanese to escalate hostilities enough to use the 'self defense' justification.

Incidentally, this is just the kind of 'distraction' our administration needs to take the medias sights off of the continued carnage being wrought in Irag & Afghanistan.[|)]

I agree. Yes they have the right to defend themselves but why are they punishing the lebanese people? They have taken it just a tad bit to far.

Don't the Lebanese have a right to defend themselves too?... I guess not. Right now I am so disgusted with Israels bully-ism and heavy handedness.
If this is not terrorism then I don't know what is? and it's only going to get worse. This is not going to help the Israeli people.[V]

I think there are terrorist groups and also terrorist governments, those who don't mind killing thousands of innocents to get what they want.

And yes, I'm sure this is going to get worse (as things are getting worse and worse everyday in Iraq -more than 2000 civilians killed in the last month-). Syria and Iran have been US objectives since many years ago (due to their strategical position and resources), and probably now, the Israel attack against the Lebanon and the blaming of the former two of funding terrorists is another step of the US government to control the area. I'm afraid it won't be too long until we see those two countries attacked [V]

Let's see if I understand this.

The terrorist government of the US, in an attempt to distract us all from the carnage it has wrought upon the innocent peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan, and with an eye on the vast resouces of Syria (!), has unleashed it's client terrorist government, Israel, to reclaim it's border real estate in Lebanon and Gaza and to kill as many innocent Lebanese men, women and children as possible; these actions being justified with vague claims of Iranian/Syrian backing of terrorism.

Have I got it right?
