70 and raining here after days of being in the mid-90's. I think I'd die at 109. [xx(]

Same here. 109 is weather for reptiles - not wolverines.

Our heat wave was last weekend.

But this weekend... the ONE weekend that my husband and I go on an impulsive trip to Hampton Beach, NH... it RAINS! [:(]

This weekend in NH, we've had intermittent showers, fog, and overcast skies. On a plus side, tropical storm Beryl attracted plenty of surfers, so we had a great time watching them.

Design, next year I might take a weekend to your neck of the woods. Maybe you can suggest something worth seeing or going to.
Its about 80 and raining, so I painted all day and this after getting out of the hospital.

Phillyidol, we also went to Portsmouth, NH for the first time. It's a reasonable drive up the coast of NH from Hampton Beach (where we stayed). It's an incredibly pretty, family-friendly, hip town. Very happening at night! More restaurants than you can handle.

What! Shouldn't you stay away from all physical labor for a while after suffering from kidney stones? [:0][:D]

I guess. I finished painting. I took it easy for a few days so I should be ok.

Weirdly, it's pretty hot in here and we are in winter. This is a good proof of how global heating is actually happening.
I like it as I don't tolerate winter but something fishy is going on with the weather.

Think it got to 111 here, although our outside thermosat read 113 and our car thermostat read 109.
