<br>The problem is that many folks tend to think of muslims as normal, rational human beings who only desire parity with the global community. That is not the case at all. Their reason for being, and understanding of good and evil is based solely on their faith, and not on civil law, which most westerners simply cannot relate to at all. We are viewed by the true belivers of Islam through the prism of death or assimilation. Period.

I respectfully disagree. the majority of "normal" muslims are rational. It's the fundamentalists--the ones most likely to lean toward terrorism or terrorist-type activities--that give them all a bad name. From the time I spent in the Middle East (archeological digs in Jordan and a bit in Lebanon), I found them to be generally "normal" and rational indeed. Every society has their fundamentalists, however, that threaten to speak for all its citizens. We need to keep this in mind.

Yes. Altho I was just saying that most muslims are "normal" (whatever that means), this is, unfortunately, true. I share this problem too--"retarded subjugation of women and truth" indeed.

How about an answer to my questions above, without resorting to verse if possible?

So in other words you come here solely to incite threads or messages that usually degenerate into unnecessary name calling and derogagtory remarks--which is your purpose, I gather. I suppose that falls under the definiton of "troll" as I understand it. Thank you for the clarification.

Stella, why are you here? You're obviously so miserable and resentful. And you never engage in any music discussion. What do you get out of this place? Why do you keep coming back? You're like that one person at the party who does'nt fit in but stays and tries to make everyone else miserable. Do you think you should post here? For what?

Marvy why are you so on the rag? I'm not miserable but I am somewhat resentful of the way the planet is run. I love music but in the last few years the world situation has just flat out eclipsed everything else for me. The unfairness, the pain and grief, the children and my inability to do anything about it have just done in my more fun side. You all bring it out. You all explain it to me, help me understand, show me the why and how of it.

Wow, this is quite a thread.

To Stella:

There are 2 kinds of people on this planet: those who can and those who can't, and they're both right. Instead of wallowing in despair, why not get out and make a difference? You'll feel better and the world will be better for your efforts.

I'm in a quandary, on the one hand Israel is a beautiful sun-soaked paradise full of well meaning individuals whose only motivation is peace, and prosperity for all. On the other hand we have the Islamic militants who have been wronged over the centuries, and their sole desire is to link arms with their protagonists and over sweet tea and flat bread broker a fair and lasting peace. Who to support, hmmmmmmm.

Yes, you are so worried about the world... so you go and give your support to Hezbollah???
Be serious, if you would care about the world, you wouldn't be supporting any terrorist group.

That's kind of a broad statement Mechi. What's the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist? It's been reported that Hezbollah is the group rebuilding infrastructure, delivering food and supplies, moving people out of harms way and running hospitals. How does that fit in with your idea of terrorist?

Big deal about Hezbollah. I seem to remember Al Capone did the same thing during the Depression with the soup kitchens etc., but I don't see him honored for his humanitarian efforts. It's a cheap veil to mask their true raison d'etre. They are a terrorist organization, plain and simple.

I'm surprised somebody of your intellect can't see that.

I absolutely tried this. I did 15 years of volunteer work in my community. When corporate interests wanted to place a trash burning 200 MW power plant here I went to Sacramento and spent 10 years arguing before the CEC as a volunteer. I won, I got the cleanest, prettiest, safest, plant imaginable. I got 49 million dollars in mitigation and founded the Crockett Community Foundation. Now I get to watch people fight over money, stab each other in the back, steal, cheat, embezzle, and lie, it's amazing. One by one people I respected turned into green monsters. I made a difference alright.

I got a peak at how things work, of the power of money, back room deals and the endless bait and switch games that give us crappy everything. If you plant a tree someone will cut it down. If you fund a computer lab someone will steal the computers. Now I just give money to people who ask me for it on the street.

As for Hezbollah all can I say is "nobody's right when everybody's wrong. Some people speaking their minds, getting so much resistance from behind.

Consider Stella NWO's own version of Ashton Kutcher.

If you fall for her nonsensical rhetoric, allow yourself to take her seriously and get sucked into actually attempting to have a logical discussion with her then <big><big><B>
