ABOATES wrote:Ugh...downloads...hate em. Can already find everything on the inter-nets and burn it if I want. I want quality physical media. The artists that just do downloads on Bandcamp...etc. aren't' getting my dollars. I only purchase CD's. IMO artists that do the download only, are marginalizing the very field in which they participate. A download requires zero effort, zero thought...just a click...so insignificant just like any other click. Those of us that truly love music and all of the art that goes with it, appreciate holding a physical product in hand that infers meaning and care. A shame that so many modern day artists don't understand how meaningless downloads make their art. After all they did to create it, it will end up as an unseen file on someone's phone. Sad.
