Rock was typified by the classic guitar solo - all well and good. But the 80s had tons of musical interludes driven by synths, pianos, horns, strings, and even some guitar solo mockery. This Name That Tune Game has all of this latter stuff. It's not all necessarily New Wave - a couple of non-New Wave 80s tracks plus a reminder at the end that we didn't exactly invent this idea. [;)]
There are 25 video clips in the linked video below. Any Quicktime-loaded computer should be able to play it - email me if you have issues. Just guess the Artist and Title to each song. The game is on a 75 point basis - 1 point for each Artist, 2 points for each Title. Email back the answers after you're done (my email is in the form). Make sure to include your forum name so I know who you are. I'll immediately send back the Score and Answer Sheet and take YouSendIt requests for later posting. Please remember NOT to post your responses here!
